Community Partnerships
During their career at D.C. Everest, students are exploring military, career and post-secondary options to determine which path they want to pursue upon graduation. Strong partnerships with business leaders, chambers of commerce, entrepreneurs and our Wausau Region community provide our students with the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom and “test the waters” to see if their chosen path is a good fit.
We are grateful for the robust support we receive from corporate, higher education, municipal and non-profit entities in Central Wisconsin. They help us design our curriculum to meet the needs of the 21st century; provide internship, job shadowing, tours and apprenticeship opportunities; and help us implement relevant hands-on learning and leadership training in our classrooms and extracurricular activities.
