Welcome!
Introductions
The PTO is committed to supporting our school and our students! We help to fund field trips, afterschool clubs, fine arts programs, new books, classroom supplies, playground equipment, and many other events that further enrich the education of your child. The PTO is also dedicated to creating a community between our parents and teachers. We do this by building parental involvement within our school and by supporting teachers in their efforts to educate our children. The PTO helps you to stay informed about upcoming school events and is also a wonderful way to get involved in your child’s education.

- Positive feedback on the Hoedown, families and students enjoyed it
- Field trips coming up; Little Red school house, school forest, planetarium, art museum, baseball game in Green Bay, Madison
- Track and field days are coming up end of May

Winter/Spring Fundraiser
- Wild West Hoedown-Fundraiser-April 27, 2023
- Donations for baskets from the classrooms are in the multi-purpose room
- Meeting 4/18 4-6pm to organize raffle baskets
- Will need another day based on how 4/18 goes
- Door prize station not at the entrance door – send slip home with students to bring back to event, could this be incorporated with the flyer sent home
- Do free will donation jar at entrance when we welcome people.
- Need more definition around dance lessons. Marie will follow up with DJ to see what he can help with. Have DJ play songs that are organized dances. Do in gym.

- Imagine event was well attended and Mountain Bay was well represented
- Penny Wars raised over $1300. Money will be used to buy lunch for Everest Metro
- Knock Down Hunger cereal drive is going on this week, going well
- Still struggling with pick up. People still parking between Mountain Bay and Middle School. If you arrive before 3:35, please park and walk up. Maybe a flyer to those that continue to park in this area.
- Need to schedule date for kindergarteners to do hand prints around school. Also need someone to write names by hand prints from last year.

- Donuts with Grownups- Very successful event, had extra donuts, juice and milk. Ordered 50 dozen donuts 1/3 glazers, 1/3 circles with vanilla frosting and sprinkles, and 1/3 chocolate frosting with sprinkles. PTO paid for the donuts, cups, and napkins; school paid for the beverages. 6 gallons of white milk, 11 gallons of chocolate milk and 22 bottles of apple juice.
- Julia Cook Assembly- April 25th. - PTO approved paying $946.00 for Author Visit by Julia Cook.

- Update from the Treasurer- completed the WI Charitable Organization Application-Approved.
Winter/Spring Fundraiser
- Rodeo-Fundraiser- Event Date-April 27, 2023-Received approval from the School Board. First meeting to discuss the event, Tuesday, February 28th.

Fall Fundraiser-Cherrydale Fundraising
- 2-year commit with a 45% profit on all sales
- Beginning on October 4th, Fundraiser end date is October 19th
- Pizza/Ice-Cream Parties
- Weekly prizes, random drawing
- Every student that signs up and shares the fundraising link will receive a keychain
- Goal $10,000.00
- Goal is to be fully virtual
- Info will be sent home with kids about a week before fundraiser starts
Trunk-or-Treat- October 20th from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
- Parents/Staff decorate their trunks and supply treats/candy
- PTO will provide candy/treats if needed
- At Mountain Bay, parking lot/bus parking
- Goal is 15+ cars
- All of family is welcome
- Contact Kelli if you would like your car in the event
- If we had older student volunteer, we could set out games at the event
- Look at using portable speaker and play Halloween music
- PTO will do a bag for each kid

Please download the Box Tops for Education app and scan your receipts to earn extra money for the Mountain Bay PTO. The first time you open the app you will have to sign up and find Mountain Bay Elementary School.

While drinking the Coca-Cola products your family already enjoys, you can earn My Coke Reward points and donate them to Mountain Bay Elementary School, Weston, WI, 54476. My Coke Reward points can be found on hundreds of different packages including Dasani, Sprite, Minute Maid, Powerade, and more. Points can be found under the bottle caps and under the flap of 12, 24, and 32-packs of cans.
